FLASH SEATS FAQ
New to Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland this year is Flash Seats! This digital ticketing system is part of some new ticketing and seating procedures being implemented for all events, beginning August 1, 2018.
What is Flash Seats?
Flash Seats is an ID-based, digital ticketing system and the preferred admission method. It eliminates paper tickets and allows you to enter Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland events with a Flash Seats ID, available through the AXS app. Flash Seats is currently in use at other local venues, including Sprint Center, and allows you to manage your tickets digitally. It also gives you the ability to transfer, sell and buy seats through an official marketplace endorsed by Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland.
What if I don’t want to use Flash Seats?
E-Tickets: There will be no e-tickets available for Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland shows which go on-sale after August 1, 2018.
Premium Mail Delivery (Hard Printed Ticket): $15/order – tickets will be mailed to you approximately 3 weeks prior to the show date.
Will Call (Hard Printed Ticket): $15/order - available at Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland box office, which opens 3 hours prior to show start time.
Fan Club Delivery: If you purchased tickets from a Fan Club, ticket delivery will vary dependent on the promoter, fan club site and choice of customer.
ENTERING THE THEATRE
How do I get into the theatre?
With Flash Seats, your registered ID gets you into the venue. Please have your Flash Seats ID displayed via the AXS app and note that screenshots of the app will not work.
- Show your Flash Seats ID to the Guest Services Representative who will scan it through a hand-held device
- You'll be given a Seat Locator stub, which indicates the location of your seats
- Give your Seat Locator to an usher to help you find your seats
- Enjoy the event!
What if my guests arrive at different times?
Many fans find it best to TRANSFER the seats to their guests prior to the event. This way your guests will be able to enter when they arrive using their own Flash Seats ID.
TRANSFERRING ON FLASH SEATS
Transferring your seats
A seat transfer allows you to digitally give each guest in your party their own ticket via Flash Seats. With seat transfers, you no longer need to worry about delivering the paper tickets to them in advance or meeting them outside of the gates to walk in together. There is no fee for transferring seats and you are allowed unlimited transfers.
Your guests must have an AXS account to access their seats. Also, your guests can digitally transfer the seats back to you if they can no longer attend, or you can simply cancel the transfer if they haven’t already set up an AXS account.
Note that some areas within Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland are non-transferable. Refer to your order to review whether your seats are transferable. If they are, follow these steps to complete a transfer to a different recipient:
- Log in, and then click TICKETS in the toolbar
- Find the event and tickets you want to transfer and click TRANSFER.
- Check the boxes for the tickets you want to transfer.
- Enter the name and email of the recipient and click PREVIEW THE FLASH TRANSFER
- Click CONFIRM TRANSFER and the recipient will immediately receive an email with instructions on how to claim the tickets
Can I cancel a transfer?
It depends on whether the guests you're transferring to already have an AXS account. If they already have an account, the seats are transferred instantaneously to their account, so you cannot cancel a transfer once you've initiated it. If the people you're transferring to do not have a AXS account and do not pick up the tickets you've transferred, you can cancel a transfer.
